November’s PlayStation Plus monthly games announced. This month, Sony is adding arcade racing game Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – supernatural action-adventure turbocharged Ghostwire: Tokyo and social networking game Death Note Killer Within to its game subscription service. All three games will be available to PS Plus subscribers at the Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium levels from November 5. Death Note Killer Within is a one-day PS Plus game – the game will be released on PC (via Steam), PS4. and PS5 on November 5th.
The list of monthly games for PS Plus, published on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday, will be available until December 2. PS Plus members can add free games to their game libraries and continue to play them after the specified date as long as they have an active subscription.
It’s also worth noting that October’s monthly PS Plus games are still available on the service until November 4. These include WWE 2K24, Dead Space and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Make sure you add titles to your PlayStation game library before they leave the service. Here’s an overview of this month’s PS Plus monthly game lineup:
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged
The sequel to 2021’s Hot Wheels Unleashed, this racing game features over 130 vehicles from the Hot Wheels franchise to race around twisty miniature tracks. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged also introduces ATVs and motorcycles and adds the ability to double jump. Each vehicle category is distinct and each vehicle in the game is highly customizable. Winning races earns you skill points that can be spent on the car’s skill tree. In addition, there are new game modes and challenges. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
Just after Halloween, PS Plus is adding Tango Gameworks’ spooky adventure game Ghostwire: Tokyo. The titular city has been overrun by spirits and supernatural beings released by an occultist. The streets of Tokyo are empty as its bustling population has vanished. You play as Akito, a boy possessed by a powerful spirit that gives him special abilities. With new Doctor Strange-style powers, you investigate missing people and battle the supernatural creatures currently roaming Tokyo. Ghostwire Tokyo is available on PS5.
Death Note Killer Within
Death Note Killer Within is a new social deduction game from Bandai Namco that is coming to PS Plus as a day one launch. The game is based on the world of the titular anime and can be played by up to 10 players online, divided into two teams. Each team gets their own set of objectives, and in order to win the game, they must figure out each other’s identity and either eliminate L or take the Death Note from Kira. The game will be available on PS4 and PS5.
PS Plus members will be able to play all three games for free in the Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers. Earlier this month, Sony also announced a lineup of games joining the PS Plus game catalog in October. Among them are Dead Island 2, Two Point Campus, Return to Monkey Island, etc.
