The Oppo Find X8 was launched in China on October 24 alongside the Oppo Find X8 Pro. The phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and run on Android 15 ColorOS 15. They feature Hasselblad-tuned cameras and support 80W wired fast charging. It was recently announced that the line would be launched on world markets. The base model Oppo Find X8 has now been confirmed to launch in India. An advertising campaign of the imminent opening has begun in the country.

Oppo Find X8 will be launched in India soon. A direct ad campaign on Oppo India’s website confirmed the imminent reveal. Buyers can purchase the Oppo Find X8 Magic Box for Rs. 99 and grab a chance to get the Oppo Find X8 for free. They can get Rs. 1500 exchange coupon if they sign up.
According to the company, people who purchase the Oppo Find X8 Magic Box before November 3, 11:59 PM IST, will receive a link on their registered WhatsApp on November 4 to get a limited number of Oppo Find X8 for free. This offer is valid subject to the sale of 3000 units of Magic Box by November 3, 11:59 PM IST. If the condition is not met, people who bought the box will get 50,000 points credited to their Oppo accounts. There will also be another such contest with a target of 6,000 units and a deadline of November 10, 11:59 PM IST. Notably, there is no limit to the number of magic boxes a customer can buy.
There is no word yet on the launch of the Oppo Find X8 Pro in India.
Technical characteristics of Oppo Find X8
The Oppo Find X8 has a 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone comes with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Find X8 features a Hasselblad-tuned triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony LTY-700 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens. The front camera has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Oppo Find X8 is powered by a 5630mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-band GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The handset has IP68 and IP69 water and dust protection class. For security, the phone received an optical fingerprint sensor.
