Oppo announces international warranty service between GCC countries and India

Oppo has announced a new cross-country warranty service for select devices purchased in India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The new initiative will allow Oppo customers to access warranty and repair services at the company’s authorized service centers in all regions. Oppo’s A-series, Reno and F-series smartphones fall under the new scheme. Starting October 31, customers with eligible Oppo phones can visit any authorized service center in India or GCC countries to access the services.

The Chinese smartphone brand announced the launch of international warranty service in India on Monday in a press release. It has been confirmed that the new service will be available to customers in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and India.

Thanks to the latest scheme, users of a range of smartphones including Oppo A3x, Oppo A3, Oppo A3 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno 12 series and Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G can access comprehensive warranty services, repairs and upgrades at authorized Oppo service centers worldwide. regions

Warranty service between countries will start on October 31. Customers can bring their Oppo smartphones along with receipts and warranty cards to any local authorized service center in India and GCC for free warranty service and system upgrade. Customers must pay additional costs for out-of-warranty or out-of-coverage devices to replace damaged spare parts, including motherboard, screen and battery.

Users using international warranty service are advised to back up their data before any update, as updating the system may result in data loss. The warranty period begins from the moment the client activates the electronic warranty card. Service charges will depend on each service center’s local regulations.
