Asus ROG Phone 9, ROG Phone 9 Pro Design leaked in renders, hands-on video

The Asus ROG Phone 9 series will be launched on November 19 with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood. Ahead of the official announcement, alleged renders of the upcoming gaming-focused smartphone have surfaced online, along with a hands-on video showcasing the design and accessories. The Asus ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro seem to have adopted the design of their predecessors, with a square flat frame and three main cameras.

Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro design and accessories published

A new leak from 91Mobiles gives us a look at the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro along with its accessories. It can be seen in a black shade in alleged renders with a textured back like previous ROG phones. The display is flat with a notch in the top center for selfies. On the back, it boasts a small camera notch in the top left corner, just like the ROG Phone 8, with three camera sensors and an LED flash.

The report includes an image of the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro with the AeroActive Cooler X. This dock, which attaches to the back of the phone, has charging ports and helps with temperature management. It is also shown with a protective case with raised corners.

Additionally, YouTuber GadgetsBoy posted hands-on footage of the vanilla ROG Phone 9. The video shows the phone’s retail packaging, which appears to feature an angular camera bump and a textured back panel. It is likely to have a more premium build than the current ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro.

Asus has already announced that the ROG Phone 9 will be released on November 19. The Taiwanese company previewed the phone at the Snapdragon Summit earlier this week. It is confirmed to be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and AniMe display. Artificial intelligence is expected to play a role in the phone’s gaming experience.
