The Realme GT 7 Pro will be officially launched in China by the end of this month. While the exact release date of the phone is still under wraps, a well-known insider has suggested a timeline for the launch of the Realme GT 7 Pro in India. It is said to be the first phone in India to include Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Xiaomi is expected to pack the new chipset in its rumored Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The OnePlus 13 is also confirmed to run on a new chipset.

Realme GT 7 Pro may debut in November in India

Advisor Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), along with SmartPrix, has revealed that the Realme GT 7 Pro will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC-based phone to debut in India. It is reported that the new Realme GT series phone will be officially launched in the country in mid-November. It is likely to be priced between Rs 55,000 and Rs 60,000 in India.

Qualcomm will release the new Snapdragon chip on October 22 during the Snapdragon Summit in Maui, Hawaii, in line with the October launch schedule of the Realme GT 7 Pro in China. The smartphone is expected to be the successor to the Realme GT 5 Pro.

Earlier reports suggested that the OnePlus 13 will be the first Android flagship to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile platform. The Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro and iQoo 13 are also believed to run on this SoC, which will have an AI engine for advanced on-device tasks and Oryon cores. Next year’s flagship Samsung Galaxy S25 series will most likely get the Galaxy chip version.

Realme GT 7 Pro has already been confirmed to launch in Chinese markets later this month. Realme is currently accepting pre-bookings for the phone on its official website. It will come with AI features.

The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It will likely include Samsung’s quad micro-curved screen with DC dimming. It may have a 50-megapixel primary camera. It is said to get IP69 dust and water protection, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a slimmer body of around 9mm.
