Honor X60, Honor X60 Pro with 108-megapixel rear camera, MagicOS 8.0 launch: price, specifications

The Honor X60 series was launched in China as a successor to the X50 series that debuted in July last year. The latest line of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer consists of two models: Honor X60 and X60 Pro. Both models share some common features, such as a 108-megapixel main camera. On the other hand, the standard model gets the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset, while the X60 Pro variant is powered by a Snapdragon chipset.

The price of the Honor X60 series

The Honor X60 starts at RMB 1,199 (roughly Rs. 14,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB model. It is available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage and is available in three colors: Elegant Black, Moonlight and Sea Lake Qin.

Meanwhile, the Honor X60 Pro starts at RMB 1,499 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB model. The phone is available in memory configurations similar to the standard Honor X60. It is available in four colors: ash, black, orange and sea green.

Technical characteristics of Honor X60, Honor X60 Pro

Honor X60 is equipped with a 6.8-inch TFT LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset; an octa-core processor consisting of two Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.5 GHz and two Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The SoC is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage.

It is backed by a 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. This model received a side fingerprint sensor.

On the other hand, the Honor X60 Pro has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2700 × 1224 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The smartphone is equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of memory. It also gets two-way satellite communication capabilities in situations where there is no Wi-Fi or cellular coverage.

The smartphone is powered by a 6000mAh battery with support for 66W faster charging.

Both models of the Honor X60 series have a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. They also have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

In addition, both phones support dual SIM 5G and Wi-Fi 5. The standard model supports Bluetooth 5.1, while the Honor X60 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.3.
