The Vivo S18 series arrived in China last year, with standard and Pro models boasting AMOLED screens and 50-megapixel main cameras. The Chinese smartphone brand has now confirmed that the Vivo S19 series will be launched this month. They will be launched alongside the Vivo Watch GT. Vivo has been teasing the design of the upcoming mobiles through its social media. He also shared samples of the camera that reveal its capabilities.
The launch date of the Vivo S19 series in China has been announced
Vivo S19 series and Vivo Watch GT launch date in China revealed on Vivo’s Weibo page. It will be held on May 30 at 19:00 CST Asia (4:30 IST) on May 30. The company also released teaser images on its official website in China showing the phone’s Aura light setup on the rear camera with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
The Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro are confirmed to be available in three color options Misty Green, Peach Blossom Fan and Qianshan Green (translated from Chinese). Meanwhile, the Vivo Watch GT is shown in four shades with a square display.
Vivo has also shared several camera samples of the Vivo S19 duo on Weibo. The sample shows the progress of the camera in the image sensors. They are confirmed to have a portrait camera with full focus and five focal lengths.
In addition, Vice President of Vivo Jia Jingdon announced that the Vivo S19 series will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera and a 50-megapixel Sony telephoto portrait camera.
Vivo S19 Series Specifications (Expected)
The Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro are tipped to sport 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays. The former might run on a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, while the latter might get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. The standard model is likely to get a 6,000 mAh battery, while the Pro model could have a 5,500 mAh battery. It is expected to support 80W fast charging.
