iOS 18.1 update release date

Apple first unveiled the iOS 18 update, which includes AI features, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2024. Although the operating system (OS) was released for the iPhone last month, Apple’s Intelligence features have yet to be rolled out. The report says the Cupertino-based tech giant is taking its time with the update to fix all bugs and ensure its cloud servers can handle AI traffic. While features such as writing tools, web page summarization in Safari, a new Safari look and Clean Up in Photos are expected to be introduced, several of them are expected to be introduced with the next updates.

Gurman says Genmoji and ChatGPT integration support will be released with the iOS 18.2 update. Meanwhile, the iOS 18.4 update scheduled for March could finally introduce a smarter Siri with the ability to better control apps, as well as access personal information to provide answers. Future updates will also include Image Playground and automated email.
