Amazon’s new line consists of three models: Fire HD 8, Fire HD 8 Kids and Fire HD 8 Kids Pro, the last two being models aimed at children. The e-commerce giant says customers can get its latest tablet with up to 50 percent savings thanks to its introductory price.

Price of the Amazon Fire HD 8 series of tablets

The Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet starts at $54.99 for the 32GB storage model. It also comes in a 64GB option that costs $84.99. However, the e-commerce platform says that this is only an introductory price valid until October 9, after which it will be revised to $99.99 and $129.99 respectively for both models.

The tablet is available in three colors: black, emerald and hibiscus.
