Vivo V40 Lite 5G and Vivo V40 Lite 4G were launched in Indonesia. The phones share a similar design and some key specs. The 5G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, while the 4G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset. Both phones come with dual rear cameras and 32-megapixel selfie shooters. They have an IP64-rated construction for protection against dust and splashes. Both phones got 5000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging support.

The price of Vivo V40 Lite 5G in Indonesia is IDR 4,299,000 (roughly IDR 23,700) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Vivo’s official listing shows a 12GB + 512GB configuration, but its price is yet to be confirmed.

On the other hand, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G is priced from IDR 3,599,000 (approx. Rs. 19,900) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at IDR 3,699,000 (approx. Rs. 20,400). The phones are available for purchase in Indonesia via Vivo’s official e-store.

The Vivo V40 Lite 5G comes in Carbon Black and Titanium Silver colors, while the 4G version is offered in the same hues along with a third variant of Pearl Violet.

Vivo V40 Lite 5G and V40 Lite 4G have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a brightness level of 1800 nits. The 5G variant is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 built-in storage. Meanwhile, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G is powered by a Snapdragon 685 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage. The phones come with OriginOS 14 based on Android 14.

On the camera front, the Vivo V40 Lite 5G has a dual rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The Vivo V40 Lite 4G, on the other hand, has an unknown 50-megapixel primary rear sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones are equipped with 32-megapixel front-facing cameras for selfies and video calls. They come with support for the Vivo AI Imaging suite, which includes features like AI Erase and Photo Enhance.

The Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G variants pack 5,000mAh batteries and support 80W wired fast charging. For security, the phones are equipped with fingerprint sensors built into the display. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, NFC and a USB Type-C port. They have an IP64-rated construction for protection against dust and splashes.
