It seems the launch date of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India was accidentally leaked on the company’s website. Footnotes on the phone’s promotional page indicate that it will be available for purchase from the first week of June. The flagship offering will be Vivo’s first foldable smartphone launched outside the brand’s home country of China. It was announced in China in March, and its biggest highlights are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Zeiss-branded cameras, and a 5,700mAh battery.
Vivo has created a special microsite on its website in India to announce the launch of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The disclaimer section of this official listing states that it will launch on June 6th. This confirms previous leaks. However, the brand is yet to announce a launch date.
The microsite confirms the Celestial Black color for the Indian variant of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The device’s carbon fiber hinge is rated for 5,00,000 folds. The phone will offer Google-powered Gemini AI, along with features like artificial intelligence for note-taking, artificial intelligence for transcription, and artificial screen translation. It is confirmed to be 11.2mm thick when folded and weighs 236 grams. It will go on sale through Flipkart.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is the first foldable smartphone to hit global markets outside of China. Vivo’s X-series foldable smartphones have remained exclusive to their country since their launch.
