The Infinix GT 20 Pro was launched in India on Tuesday (May 21) as the latest gaming-focused smartphone from its Transsion group subsidiary. It is available in three colors with a cyber-mecha design and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC. It has a triple rear camera led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor and includes a dedicated Pixel Works X5 Turbo gaming chip. The Infinix GT 20 Pro was also launched in Saudi Arabia in April this year.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro is priced at Rs. 22,999 (including bank offers) for the base version with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 24,999 (including bank offers). It comes in Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart from May 28.
In comparison, the Infinix GT 10 Pro was launched at Rs. 19,999 in India last August.
Specifications of Infinix GT 20 Pro
The Infinix GT 20 Pro Dual SIM (Nano) runs on Android 14 XOS 14 and features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1080×2436 pixels) LTPS AMOLED display with variable refresh rates ranging from 60Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz . and DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen provides a sampling frequency of up to 360 Hz, a PWM frequency of 2304 Hz and is designed for a maximum brightness of up to 1300 nits. Infinix has confirmed that it will provide two major Android updates and three years of security patches for the new phone.
Under the hood, the Infinix GT 20 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It also got a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming chip. The phone includes X boost gaming mode and is claimed to deliver up to 90fps in most games.
In terms of optics, the Infinix GT 20 Pro has a triple primary camera that includes a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 sensor with optical image stabilization and dual 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies and video chats, it is equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera. It has a mechanical design with a matrix of mini RGB LEDs and a C-ring on the back. The LED interface provides eight color combinations and four lighting effects.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro has 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Connectivity options on the phone include NFC, FM radio, GPS, USB Type-C port, OTG, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11. It got a light sensor, an electronic compass, a G-sensor, a gyroscope and a proximity sensor. In addition, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and an X-axis linear motor. The phone has dual speakers from JBL.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It measures 164.26 x 75.43 x 8.15 mm and weighs 194 grams.
