Blizzard’s Diablo IV, which recently hit Valve’s store, has received a 40 percent discount — Rs. 3359 – drops you into the hellish landscape of Sanctuary to battle bloodthirsty monsters as the legendary horned demon Lilith, Queen of the Succubus, rises to power. Weak post-launch content has tarnished this game’s reputation, so why not give it a try with a six-day free trial? Bethesda’s expansive space RPG Starfield also got its first discount, taking you centuries into the future where humanity has begun to thrive on other planets. It is available for Rs. 3,999 with a 20 percent discount.
The entire PlayStation Studios catalog is also part of the promotion, including The Last of Us Part I, which is discounted to Rs. 2,679 (33 percent off), despite lingering issues with image fidelity and performance even at lower graphics settings.
Starfield Review
The famous God of War 2019 reboot sees the now subdued Kratos and his son Atreus embark on a treacherous journey through the Norse lands to scatter his wife’s ashes from the highest peak in the nine realms. It is available at a discount of 40 percent at Rs. 1,979. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, a two-game bundle — Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy — is also available for the same price, letting you choose between Nathan Drake and Chloe Fraser’s wild adventures. And it may be a few years before Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 hits PC, but if you haven’t caught up on the saga of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, now is the perfect time. Spider-Man Remastered costs Rs. 2,399, while its shorter spin-off sequel costs Rs. 1,979.
Fans of FromSoftware, drawn to the studio’s recent titles Elden Ring and Armored Core VI, can take a trip down memory lane with the Dark Souls trilogy. It’s worth noting that publisher Bandai Namco has increased the base price of Dark Souls Remastered, so with a 50 percent discount, it now costs Rs. 1199 is the original price tag until July 2023. Its sequels haven’t seen a price hike, with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin priced at Rs. 1199 and Dark Souls III for Rs. 2149 – both 50 percent off, DLC/Season Pass can be purchased separately. Meanwhile, Pinocchio’s Souls-like game Lies of P has seen its price drop for the first time from Rs. 3700 to Rs 2960. This is the best a PC gamer can get to experience Bloodborne, and for that, it is elegantly served with stunning atmosphere and incredible boss designs. Another big soul-like Lords of the Fallen game is also on sale at a 34% discount for Rs. 1979, but beware of persistent performance issues.
Cyberpunk 2077 Review
If open worlds are your thing, then Red Dead Redemption 2 is a no-brainer, with a 67 percent discount bringing the price down to Rs. 1.055. Or you can immerse yourself in the futuristic Blade Runner-esque world of Cyberpunk 2077, available for Rs. 1499, excluding the Phantom Liberty expansion. The price of this additional content has not come down, but you can opt for the all-inclusive package which costs Rs. 2,758. Those looking for a more limited experience can check out Dave the Diver, a cute pixel bagel about catching fish and serving it at a local sushi joint. It costs Rs. 704 after a 20 percent price cut.
