The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected to debut later this month as the successor to the Mix Fold 3. While the company has yet to reveal the exact launch date of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, a new leak sheds light on the design and several features of the upcoming foldable phone. The leaked render shows the four Leica-branded rear cameras on the phone. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and have an IPX8 water resistance rating.
Tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted the alleged render and specifications of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 on X (formerly Twitter). The official render shows the phone’s back design. It appears to have a larger camera island compared to its predecessor. The camera module, which houses four Leica-branded cameras and an LED flash, takes up about a third of the back panel.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Leica Summilux lens. This matches the main camera of the Mix Fold 3. The upcoming foldable device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is an upgraded system on its predecessor’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It can have a waterproof rating of IPX8.
Finally, Blass claims that a 5,000mAh battery will power the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 with support for wireless charging. Its thickness can be less than 10 mm.
The tipster notes that the images and specifications are of the prototype and the design may change before the final release. In this regard, it is better to treat these details with a grain of salt until the company officially announces the details of the phone.
