A hands-on video of the Pixel 9 has been leaked

User X Hani Mohamed Bioud (@hanibioud ) claimed that the Google Pixel 9 is “already available in Algeria” with 256 GB of memory. An alleged hands-on video of the phone attached to the post shows the phone in the new pink color from all angles. The 12-second video points to a pill-shaped camera panel, rounded corners, and a flat back and screen.

The back panel of the Pixel 9 appears to have a glossy finish, while the camera panel has a matte finish. The camera panel appears to be larger than that of the Pixel 8. The phone has a rectangular bezel, confirming the design language seen in previous renders.

Google will introduce the Pixel 9 series at its August hardware event. The event will begin on August 13 at 10:00 AM PT (10:30 PM IST). This year, the Pixel lineup is expected to include a new Pixel 9 Pro XL model alongside the standard Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.

The Pixel 9 series is said to come with Android 15 and Tensor G4 SoC. The vanilla Pixel 9 is expected to have a 6.24-inch AMOLED display. The Pro and XL models can have 6.34-inch and 6.73-inch AMOLED screens, respectively. The panels could offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
