Recently, there have been rumors about the Redmi K70 Ultra. The phone is expected to join the Redmi K70 series, which was launched in China in November 2023. The model range includes the basic Redmi K70, Redmi K70E and Redmi K70 Pro. Earlier reports offered some key details about the alleged smartphone’s RAM and display. Now it has been spotted on a certification site, which lists the upcoming phone’s processor and charging specs.
Tipster Digital Chat Station shared in a post on Weibo that the Redmi K70 Ultra with model number 2407FRK8EC was recently spotted on Chinese 3C certification websites, indicating an imminent launch. The phone will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. The chipset is expected to offer “Extraordinary performance and comprehensive artificial intelligence,” according to the insider.
The rumored Redmi K70 Ultra is likely to be backed by a 5,500mAh battery, which is bigger than the 5,000mAh of the base Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro. The upcoming Ultra phone is also said to support 120W fast wired charging.
Earlier reports had claimed that the Redmi K70 Ultra could feature an 8T LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution. It is likely to be equipped with 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The Redmi K70 Ultra may be launched globally as the Xiaomi 14T Pro later this year in September. Notably, the Redmi K60 Ultra was launched globally as the Xiaomi 13T Pro in September 2023.
