HMD Tab Lite price, design, colors, key features leaked

The HMD Tab Lite could be launched soon after details of the alleged tablet surfaced online. The company has yet to announce the product or even confirm its moniker, but the design and color options of the HMD Tab Lite have been leaked. The leak also suggests the price and a few key specifications of the rumored tablet. This is expected to be cheaper than the HMD T21 tablet, which was launched in 2022. Notably, there has been no indication of the launch of the HMD Tab Lite in India yet.

The HMD Tab Lite is expected to be priced around EUR 149 (roughly Rs. 13,300) for the 4GB + 64GB variant with Wi-Fi + 4G connectivity option, according to X’s post by HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60). The tipper did not specify whether the rumored tablet would be available with a Wi-Fi only option.

The attached image in the post shows the design of the HMD Tab Lite. The rear panel shows a rectangular camera module in the upper left corner with a single camera sensor and LED flash. The HMD mark appears embossed in the center of the back panel.

The HMD Tab Lite’s flat screen looks with thick bezels and a central punch hole inside the top bezel. The right edge holds the power button and volume rocker. The tablet is seen in a pink color option. The post adds that it will also likely be offered in two additional colors – black and blue.

HMD Tab Lite Features (Expected)

The HMD Tab Lite is likely to feature an 8.7-inch HD (800 x 1340 pixels) IPS LCD display with a peak brightness level of 560 nits. It could be powered by a Unisoc T610 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The alleged tablet is also expected to support expandable storage via a microSD card.

In terms of cameras, the HMD Tab Lite is expected to be equipped with a single rear camera unit that may include a 5-megapixel sensor paired with a wide-angle lens. The front camera, on the other hand, is likely to have an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus support.

The leak added that the HMD Tab Lite is expected to have a 5,500mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. We will likely learn more details about the alleged tablet in the coming days.
