The HMD Skyline spotted on Geekbench may feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset

The Finnish smartphone maker may introduce the HMD Skyline in the coming months. Earlier this year, the company introduced the HMD Pulse series of smartphones, promoting their repairability. More HMD-branded phones are expected to be released in the future. According to recent reports, one such phone could be the HMD Skyline. Previous leaks have suggested that it may feature a similar design to the Nokia Lumia 920. The alleged HMD Skyline has now been spotted on a benchmarking site that hints at some of its key specs.

The rumored HMD Skyline has been spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench. The listing reveals that the phone has a motherboard codenamed “Tomcat” which is linked to an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Notably, an earlier leak also claimed that the phone will be powered by the same mobile processor.

The Geekbench listing also reveals that the HMD Skyline is equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 14. The alleged HMD smartphone scored 1,027 and 2,857 points in the single and multi-core tests, respectively.

Features of HMD Skyline (rumored)

The aforementioned leak suggests that the HMD Skyline is likely to sport a Full HD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may have a 4,900mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support. The phone may also have an IP67-rated design for protection against dust and splashes.

In the camera department, the HMD Skyline is rumored to sport a 108-megapixel primary camera along with an ultra-wide lens and a macro or depth sensor.

Price of HMD Skyline (according to rumors)

The HMD Skyline is said to arrive with a price tag of €520 (roughly Rs. 46,800) for the 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configuration. We can expect to know more about the phone’s pricing in the coming weeks or months before its expected debut.
