The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to get a significantly larger battery than its predecessor

OnePlus usually releases the Ace Pro series of phones exclusively in China and the company is expected to announce its OnePlus Ace 3 Pro soon as an update to the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The official release date of the next phone in the Ace series has not yet been announced, but the day before, a Chinese whistleblower has revealed information about the battery and charging capabilities. The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to come with a powerful battery. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro could have a bigger battery

Digital chat station Tipster on Weibo has reported that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will be powered by a 6,100mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. The battery capacity would be huge if true, marking 1,100mAh more than the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro’s 5,000mAh battery.

Earlier, the whistleblower claimed that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will have a dual-cell battery, each with a capacity of 2,970 mAh and a total capacity of 5,940 mAh. The total value can be 6100 mAh.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to have a curved screen with a notch in the center for selfies. It is said to sport a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO screen with 1.5K resolution and is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The smartphone has a metal middle frame and a glass body.

OnePlus may include a triple primary camera setup in the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. It is supposed to be equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year. It will come with upgrades over the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which debuted last August in China, priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 34,600) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
