Infinix Note 40 5G in India set for June 21; The design, color options, and key features are revealed

According to the company, the Infinix Note 40 5G launch in India will take place next week. The smartphone will join the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G lineup, which was launched in the country in April this year. The company has announced the launch date of the Infinix Note 40 5G in India, while revealing some key details of the phone, including its design and color options. Notably, the phone was launched in the Philippines last month and a similar version is expected to debut in India.

The company said in a press release on Friday that the Infinix Note 40 5G will be launched in India on June 21. The phone will have a triple primary camera housed in a slightly raised rectangular module. The display has very thin bezels and a center-aligned hole to accommodate the front camera sensor.

The USB Type-C charging port and speaker grilles are located on the bottom edge of the phone, while the right edge houses the volume rocker and power button. The release of the smartphone in the country in Obsidian Black and Titan Gold colors has also been confirmed.

Infinix Note 40 5G Variant Features for India

The Indian variant of the Infinix Note 40 5G will feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is also confirmed to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging, as well as 15W wireless MagCharge support.

The Infinix Note 40 5G will also feature a sound system developed in partnership with JBL, similar to the one seen in the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G. This system is claimed to offer immersive sound, 360-degree symmetrical sound and enhanced bass.

Infinix Note 40 5G Specifications (Expected)

While the specifications of the Indian variant of the Infinix Note 40 5G are yet to be announced, the model launched in the Philippines is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 inbuilt storage. The phone comes with XOS 14 based on Android 14 and has an IP53 dust and splash rating.

In terms of optics, the Infinix Note 40 5G sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor along with two 2-megapixel sensors. The phone’s front camera is equipped with a 32-megapixel sensor.
