HMD Skyline design origins from Nokia Lumia 920; Price, specs of Surface Online with HMD Atlas

HMD introduced a series of smartphones under the Pulse brand at the beginning of April this year. The company is expected to launch several more mobile phones under its own brand later this year. Online leaks and reports have information about the design, features and name of the alleged phones. Prices and specifications of two such rumored phones have now appeared online. A whistleblower has revealed the alleged designs of the phones, one of which is shown to have a similar design to the Nokia Lumia 920.

The HMD Skyline is shown in yellow with a boxy design in a render leaked by X user HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60). It is seen with thick bezels and sharp edges reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia 920. The leaked image shows a punch-hole centered display on the phone, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the HMD Skyline may launch this July at a price of €520 (roughly Rs. 46,800) for the 8GB + 256GB variant.

The report adds that the HMD Skyline is likely to feature a Full HD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and pack a 4,900mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The handset may also have an IP67 dust and splash rating. In terms of optics, the phone could get a 108-megapixel primary rear camera with an ultra-wide lens, as well as a macro or depth sensor.

HMD may also launch another phone called Atlas soon. According to a post by HMD_MEME (@smashx_60), it could cost $239.99 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone is expected to sport a 6.64-inch 120Hz Full HD+ display, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, and a 5,500mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

In the camera department, the HMD Atlas may sport a 48-megapixel primary rear sensor along with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a depth sensor. The front-facing camera, located in the central punch hole, is expected to feature a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone comes in an olive green color and is likely to offer 5G, NFC, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone port.
