The possible launch of the company’s next-generation flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, is still many months away, but rumors about its camera specifications and memory configuration are already circulating online. Its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, was launched in January with several AI features enabled on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and received positive reviews.

Based on previous model numbers for the Galaxy series, the “U” may be a reference to the US variant. The international variant is likely to arrive with a different model number. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to go official early next year, just like the previous generation Galaxy S series phones. Rumor has it that the camera will be upgraded with an ultra-wide-angle camera, and the telephoto sensors will get a big boost.
